Stock market crash of 2008 – What to do

This might surprise you but our advice is to start buying stocks. Warren Buffett said it best when he said that the stock market is the only place he knows of where when things go on sale, people run for the door. As long as you are investing for the long term, you need to view this down turn as the opportune time to pick up stocks at a discount.

I have not yet made a move to the Market Flavor portfolio but I plan on selling off some of the protective position in the QID and adding to some of the stocks in the portfolio that are trading at a discount, low P/E ratio. Subscribe to this blog on the right to see what I decide to buy and sell in the Market Flavor portfolio.

No one knows when the market will recover or how much worse things will get, but the market and economy will recover. Sooner or later the market will return to the levels there are at now and they will get better. No one can call the bottom but it’s always smart to start buying in when things look bad.
