Learning to invest through trading simulations is also known as paper trading, virtual trading, fantasy investing, or stock simulation. This technique allows you to practice making stock trades without risking your hard earned money. Although virtual can be very beneficial, it can also be misleading. Here is a great article written by the Wall Street Journal that talks about the problems with fantasy investing. Stock market simulators are extremely helpful for new investors. There is no better way to learn exactly how the market works than to see it for yourself through simulations. The simulations have gotten better and better throughout the years.

Stock Simulation Game or Online Paper Trading is always been a very useful tool for novice as well as skilled online stock trader. Its help to understand the stock market in better way and at the same time it boost up the confidence of stock trader to effectively do online stock trading. I am regular online stock trader but still I use this tool to find out different and innovative technique which will help me to trade successfully in my actual online stock trading.
